After last week's intense finish to the MWA Tag-Team Title championship, how will Juan Hefe keep control over his embattled promotion?
Tired of taking orders from Juan Hefe, "The Regulator" Seth Lawless betrayed his boss and is now looking to assume a dominating role in the MWA.
"The LIFTOR" John Curry answered his challenge but ended up a bloody mess in the middle of the ring. Will "The LIFTOR" be in any shape to counter Lawless' reign of terror?
"Ganja Man" Matt Pierce will also face new-comer Jericho Black for the NMHC Juniorweight Championship.
Get ready Halifax, it's going to be a bumpy ride!
Other matches to be announced.

An eager crowd chatters indistinctively as they await for the start of Friday Night Afterburn.
And the moment finally arrives as the main lights dim to black. An explosion of firework display and pyrotechnics immediate followed. The Halifax fans roar as Afterburn had officially begun.
Soon after, 3 bursts of flame lights up the stage, “Lawless’ Street” (Seth Lawless’ theme music) blasts through out the arena, the lights turns red setting an ambient atmosphere as Seth Lawless makes his way to the ring.
(Halifax has waited for this moment since last week’s shocker)
Lawless picks up a microphone from ringside and makes his way to the center of the ring. He stands there and waits for the music to stop...
The music stops, Lawless now stands in the middle of the ring, still and in silence, panning his view, looking at the audience - who chattered indistinctly in anticipation.
Then Seth Lawless began to speak: “In a pride of lions, when one lion was to want the leadership of the pride…he takes it! Hefe, the fact of the matter is I was tired of hearing your mouth…
‘here is what you should do tonight’, ‘tonight, I want you to do this’ ‘I want you to do that’ ‘here is what needs to be done’
I did my best to fulfill my side of the partnership, but when I asked you for a simple favor, you just shoved it aside and continued to ask me to do your bidding.
What about my biddings? Signing the UCW members would be a wise investment for the future of this promotion but you didn’t want to hear any of it. Sending out to do your lackey work?
I was more than your errand boy! And instead of telling you that…well…action speaks louder than words!
Former UCW World Heavyweight Champion! Former NMHC World Heavyweight Champion! I am 7’2” 395 pounds! The “Regulator” I am SETH LAWLESS! The current #1 Contender of MWA!
You better get that through your brain and remember that fact or else you will find yourself on more choke slams to come!
My overall record here in MWA is on the top of the roster and that makes me a candidate to be the # 1 contender. I want my shot against the so called “Mr. MWA” here tonight in HA-LI-FAX!"
The crowd roars with excitement for the proposal.
So Hefe, you get out of from your office right now and book the match! Otherwise, I will kick down that door of yours and convince you the HARD WAY!.
Lawless stands and awaits for hefe's response...

Lawless doesn't have to wait long as Metallica's Master of Puppets and a blast of flashy pyro announce the arrival of Juan Hefe, who looks almost smug as he walks onto the entranceway ramp. "You are a real piece of work Lawless! Do you think for a moment that I'd just roll over and give you a title-shot to the most prestigious title in my company? After the stunt you pulled last week, you aren't getting anywhere near that belt for a very long time if I have anything to say about it!" The crowd, unfamiliar with the idea of cheering Juan Hefe, give it a try and find that it's rather uncomfortable. Juan Hefe has bigger things on his mind to worry about than his crowd heat however, and he continues. "No, tonight, you and Gunn are going to be facing the men you betrayed last week... Team MWA! In a falls count anywhere tag-team match!" Hefe is about to head to the back when he suddenly turns around. "Oh, and as for that NMHC Heavyweight Title shot? Yeah, that's going to a bona fide MWA employee, "The LIFTOR" John Curry!"

Rich Burton can be seen outside Johnny's locker room, suddenly the door opens and Johnny appears.
Rich: "Hey Johnny, I'm here to interview you now about your match later tonight"
Johnny: "Sure, fire away"
Rich: "How do you feel about fighting John Curry tonight, with the belt on the line?"
Johnny: "Hm... I'm not sure if he earned the shot but I'll fight him to defend the belt for the fans"
Rich: "But are you sure it's safe to be out here with out any security? I'm mean EHDP and Damien are still mad, but then again they always are"
Johnny: "Well, if they attemp to interfere in the match I'm pretty sure that I could take them out"
Rich: "But won't it turn into three on one?"
Johnny: "I'm pretty sure John dislikes EHPD and Damien too"
Rich: "Well any last comments?"
Johnny: "No, not really"
And with that Johnny begins to walk away.
Rich: "Well back to you annoucing team!"

Unbeknownst to Knockout and Burton, the nefarious duo they had just been talking about is lying in wait behind a pack of crates. As soon as Rich Burton is out of sight, Demento gives EHDP a hand-signal that spurs the luchadore into action. EHDP wastes no time climbing on top of the crate and launching himself at the back of Knockout, who doesn't suspect that he is about to be attacked. EHDP connects knees first on Knockout's back and sends him sprawling forward onto his face. Before Knockout can rise to his feet, EHDP grabs his hair and attempts to spray his trade-mark mist in his face. Knockout, expecting this to happen ducks and low-blows EHDP, putting the luchadore out of commission. However, as this action was taking place, "The Dastardly One" Damien Demento, has managed to sneak up behind the lariat-happy grappler with a chair in hand. With a vicious swing, he slams the chair down on Knockout's skull. Staring down at his unconscious victim and the still-writhing EHDP, Demento smiles broadly. "Good luck in your match tonight Knockout, if you can make it to the ring that is." Showing signs that he may not be totally evil, Demento then scoops down and picks EHDP up in a fireman's carry before beginning to walk away from Knockout's unconscious body, whistling a happy tune.

*half an hour after the attack, in the medical room*
Doctor: "Well, Mr Knockout I would advise you skip tonights match"
Nurse: "Ah Mr Burton is here"
Rich: "Hey Johnny there you are, I recieved word on the attack. Any words?"
Johnny: "Yeah, Fear Factory how dare you attack me from behind with a cheap ambush... however I can understand the need to do that since I've been beating both of you for the past weeks. However your attempt to put me out has still failed as I will still be entering the ring and I will still beat John "LIFTOR" Curry"
Doctor: "But, knowing Mr Curry's style, he could end your career. I highly advise you to skip this match"
Johnny: "There's only two reasons why I want to do this match, to give John Curry a chance to win the most prestigous belt in history and for the fans!"
Doctor: "Oh dear, what do I tell Mr Hefe..."

Lawless Promo Continuation...
After hearing Hefe's plan for the night, Lawless responses with frustration:
Lawless: What the hell kinda show are you running tonight Hefe?! LIFTOR is nothing but a two-bit-has-been...no one wants to see him in any kind of match, and you are going to give him a title match?!
Hefe: I can do whatever I want! This is MY show! I am the boss! And you better do what ever I say...you better go back there and get ready for YOUR match here tonight against Team MWA...Or else I will FIRE your ass and you will be jobless like the rest of your UCW friends!

Shortly after the Lawless Promo segment...
An angry Seth Lawless walking through the hallway backstage. A unknown crewman/stage manager is leaning against one side of the hallway wall while hitting on an attractive blonde female...this guy was unaware that he was blocking the narrow hallway that Lawless was walking toward.
Without a single warning, Lawless palms the side of the crewman's head and slams it against the wall.
Lawless: Get the hell out of my way!
The blonde females screamed in panic and ran off
As if nothing had happened, Lawless continues his stride
He finally stops at a locker room door with a sign that reads "The Jackal" Kurtis Gunn. Lawless knocks on the door.
*knock knock*
Lawless: Yo Kurt, open up it's me...
Oddly enough, the door was not shut and it slides open
Lawless walks in
Lawless: Did you hear what Hefe said about our match against...
Lawless is shocked to find an unconcious Kurtis Gunn lying face down on the floor next to a pool of blood that was coming from his head. The locker doors show signs of a struggle.
Lawless runs out of the hallway screaming: MEDIC! Call the MEDIC!
Fortunately, a medic was near due to being called just a few minutes earlier to assist the crewman injured by Lawless.
The Medic rush to Gunn and attend to him leaving the still injured crewman. As soo as the medic saw Gunn's shape, he calls for back up on his radio...
Lawless, meanwhile grown silence in deep comtemplation.
A stretcher arives shortly after and load up Gunn and takes him away.
Lawless is still in his state of silence... Then he reach in his pocket and takes out a cellular phone. He press only a few keys and puts the phone to his ear...

Harry Fate, wearing his newly-won MWA US Heavyweight belt, high-fives the fans around ringside before rolling into the ring. Seth Lawless' music then starts up and continues for about 2 minutes before it is cut short by Metallica's Master of Puppets. A smug Juan Hefe heads out to entranceway. "Well, well, well. "Last" hits and Vertigo walks out with James Dark. They are wearing the NMHC World Tag-Team Title Belts. Vertigo has a mic in his hand.
"Team MWA, you guys seem to to think you are the hottest thing to hit the business since the Rock. Well I hate to break it to you all, but you aren't.
"Harry, what you did on Delerium was impressive, you won a Fatal Four-Way and then you managed to defeat me for the US Title. How does it feel to carry your team. Everyone here can see that Ted is past his prime, that is if he ever even had a prime.
"So tonight we will fight you guys, in a non-title match. If you guys beat us, then you can get a shot at the belts."
Vertigo hands the mic to James...

1.b Team MWA versus Vertigo and "The Dark Angel" James DarkNeeding to prove themselves to the champs, Harry Fate and Ted Tsavales put together a great match but it wasn't enough to overcome the champs. Vertigo put Tsavales away with the Balefire Bomb at 7:47 to get the win. Remarkably, Tsavales' sunglasses did not come off during the entire match. NMHC Juniorweight Championship2. "Ganja Man" Matt Pierce (c) versus Jericho BlackIn his 2nd title defense, "Ganja Man" did not fail to impress with his performance against the "Bruiser-weight". At 2:52, he hit an impressive triple-powerbomb combo that got him a close 2 count and only served to heighten his momentum. A Ganja Bomb (Snap Powerbomb 03) at 4:16 put his momentum over the top and he put the G-Lock on Black, who managed to free himself. An Avalanche German Suplex got Pierce blazed up again and another G-Lock at 6:15 got him the win. Impressive victory for the "Ganja Man" here, as he never appeared to break a sweat. NMHC Heavyweight Championship3. Johnny Knockout (c) versus "The LIFTOR" John CurryAgainst doctor's orders, the MWA's greatest champion came out to defend his coveted NMHC Heavyweight Championship against the man who symbolizes the MWA, "The LIFTOR" John Curry. The two men proceeded to have the match of their careers until all hell broke loose at 8:56 when the referee was knocked out by an errant blow from Johnny Knockout. LIFTOR, not seeing this happen, nailed Knockout with the Tazplex and went for the cover. Unfortunately for him, the referee was unconscious and he failed to notice "The Regulator" Seth Lawless enter the ring. Lawless then proceeded to grab LIFTOR by the neck, reversed him in mid air and nailed him with The Lawless Regulation. With Curry out of the picture, Lawless turned his attention to Knockout, who was still groggy from LIFTOR's Tazplex, and Regulated him as well. At this point, Juan Hefe came out with a mic in hand and instructed any MWA talent who still wanted a job in the morning to come out and defend their turf. Almost instantly, the entire MWA locker room came out and stormed the ring. Before they could enter the ring however, more ex-UCW talent stormed over the barricade and climbed into the ring in anticipation of the MWA attack. As both promotions were fighting it out ferociously in the ring, Hefe ran to ringside, grabbed the NMHC Heavyweight belt and ran back up the ramp and to the backstage area. After-show, Juan Hefe's OfficeHefe, sitting behind his desk is looking worriedly at the NMHC Heavyweight title when a knock sounds on the door. Hefe jumps but remembers that he's triple-bolted the steel door and that he's safe where he currently is. He walkie talkies one of the security guards that is posted outside. Jim, who the hell is out there and what do they want? Over. The walkie talkie blares back. It's some guy who calls himself Jimmy King boss, says he's dying to see you, over. Juan Hefe stares at his walkie talkie, hardly believing what he's hearing. Jimmy King? Back in the MWA? Hefe, realizing that he needs all the back-up he can get right now, makes a quick decision and calls Jim back. Alright, let him in, thanks Jim. Over. Hefe gets up and walks over to the door, unlocking the three bolts and opening it. As he does so, it opens immediately revealing Jimmy King dressed in his finest suit. Behind him, a shadowy figure stays out of Hefe's sight. Well, well, well. Look at this, Juan Hefe holding the thing he holds most dear and trapped in this tiny little office. Juan, I'd like you to meet my new associate, you guys have got a lot to talk about. As Jimmy King steps aside, the shadowy figure steps into the office and reveals himself to Juan Hefe's growing horror...

After Jericho Black finnally taps out to the G-Lock,
[glow=green,2,300]*BOOM*[/glow]
A giant goute of green flame tears up through the stage and nine inch nails tears through the speakers. Vertigo walks out towards the ring wearing jeans a tanktop, his hair still wet from his post-match shower.
Over his shoulder is a gym-bag and in his hand is a mic. Pierce proceeds to lift up Jericho and lock the G-Lock on again as Vertigo climbs into the ring. Vertigo's fists are heavily taped. He drops the bag and unzips it pulling out two pairs of handcuffs which they use to lock Jericho to the top rope.
Ganja rolls out of the ring and holds onto Jericho's feet keeping him immobilized on his knees.
"Jericho Black, tonight you saw that you are not the bad-ass you claim to be. And now you are going to be taught a lesson. Come on out!"
"Yeah" by Usher hits and Brooke Sage walks to the ring, her nose still bandaged from The Black List Blast she recieved from Jericho two weeks ago.
Vertigo pulls a black sack out of his gym bag pulls it over Black's head. Brooke climbs in the ring and immediately runs accross the ring and kicks a defenseless Jericho straight in the nuts. She then starts repeatedly kicking him in the stomach until Vertigo motions for her to stop. He has a big smile on his face and looks to be barely suppresing laughter. He whispers something in Brooke's ear.
Ganja rolls back in the ring as he no longer needs to hold Jericho's feet since he's out cold. Brooke reaches up into the sack removes Jericho's mask, securing the bag again over his face when she's done. She rips an eye hole in the bag as vertigo dumps a bottle of ice water over Black's head to wake him up.
"THIS is what happens when screw with my family you bastard!"
Vertigo holds up Jericho's head as Brooke dons Jericho's mask. She poses like a model in it for a few minutes making kissy faces at Vertigo, Ganja, the crowd, and even Jericho, who is now trying to struggle his way free again.
"This tuesday on Delerium, I will finish you. That's right, it will be Vertigo vs Jericho Black, in a 15 ft High STEEL CAGE!"
Vertigo throws the mic in his face and all three members of the green pose in the ring. Vertigo with his NMHC World Tag-Team Title, Ganja Man with his NMHC Juniorweight Title and Brooke still wearing Jericho's mask.
Security enters the ring after they've finnally left and releases a limp a Jericho Black.

Backstage, after the show - "Dastardly" Damien Demento and EHDPThe camera pans in on "Dastardly" Damien Demento as he walks briskly towards the first aid room with EHDP following closely behind. Demento talks over his shoulder to the crazed luchadore. Now when we get in there Perra, I want you to let me do all of the talking. You just sit back and watch and learn how a master manipulator does it. EHDP nods and continues following his current master, the brutal yet effective "Dastardly" Damien Demento. Without knocking, Demento enters the first aid room and scans it. His eyes finally settle on Jericho Black, and the nurse who is attending to him. Demento points to the nurse and demands that she leave immediately. The nurse hesitates. But...sir, he's still in need of attention. I need to stay here until the amb... Losing all his patience at once, something no one wants to live through, Demento grabs the nurse by the throat with his bionic arm. This man is much like me, damn near indestructible. If you think I'm going to let you tend to him as if he were a meek little lamb, you are sadly mistaken. Leave now before you become the reason Hefe called an ambulance. The nurse struggles in Demento's grasp but manages to utter something unintelligible. Demento releases him and moves aside to let him escape through the open doorway. As soon as he leaves, EHDP closes the door behind him and locks it. Thanks Perra, now sit back and watch the master at work. Demento pulls a capsule of smelling salt from his coat pocket and breaks it under Jericho Black's nose. The "bruiserweight" reacts instantaneously, but Demento, using his superior body weight and strength holds him down. Calm down Jericho, you're in no danger. You're amongst friends now. Perra, tell Jericho he's amongst friends now. EHDP dutifully pipes up and lets Jericho know that he's among friends. Damien is right, estoy amigos esse. Demento leans back and extends his right hand towards Jericho, who is still feeling the effects from the brutal beating he suffered at the hands of Vertigo and the rest of Team Green earlier in the night. I have a proposal for you Jericho. You seem to have a problem with Vertigo, another one of these hero-types...Well, anti-hero types in his case. And I absolutely loathe hero/anti-hero types. You willing to listen to my very special brand of reasoning?

Demento claps Jericho on the shoulder and widens his smile. Excellent. You see, much like you, I'm damaged goods Jericho. Demento removes the protective covering over his right-arm which reveals the bio-mechanical mess underneath. He flexes his fist twice so that the show becomes even more gruesome. It ain't a pretty sight, in fact it almost looks like your face. Jericho brings a hand up to his deformed face and Demento moves in closer. Vertigo and his green team need to be taken down a peg or two. So this Tuesday, I'm gonna sick Perra on Pierce's ass, non-title of course, he'll be weakening him up for you. Demento turns toward EHDP, who is listening intently to Demento's plan. He's hearing it for the first time as well. Then next Friday, after Pierce is nice and beaten up, you go after him, for the belt. EHDP listens to this and shakes his head. What about my shot at the gold esse? I would do you proud Damien! Demento rises from his chair and faces EHDP with an angry look on his face. You follow my lead or I take you out Perra. Jericho gets the shot at the gold. EHDP doesn't back down from Demento this time. But that makes no sense esse, Jericho's just lost against Pierce, he ain't next in line any more. Demento's fury subsides and he absorbs the information EHDP just gave him. You're right Perra. We'll try to get you a title shot against Pierce. EHPD smiles at this idea, but it's short lived when he hears what Demento has to say next. And then you're gonna count the lights for Jericho here at the very next show.

John Curry is backstage after the show.
He's pissed. Really pissed. And when the LIFTOR is pissed, it's not a pretty sight.
He's walking through the hallways. Not really walking. Stomping. Angrily. Storming. That's the word. Yeah. Perfect.
He grabs a couple trash cans. Tosses them across the hallway. Knocks over a table.
"Where the f*** is Lawless?!"
He grabs a random worker (in an MWA t-shirt) and holds him up off the ground.
"WHERE THE F*** IS LAWLESS?!"
The worker stutters, noticable scared shitless. LIFTOR doesn't have time for him. He lets go of him, and he seems to...levitate for a moment. Or, perhaps, it's just the swiftness and speed of LIFTOR's actions, because the next thing the worker knows, Curry's fist has slammed into his face and he's on the ground.
He tosses another trash can over. Kicks open a door. There is a loud, female scream.
"Sorry, Vertigo. Sorry, Brooke. No time to chat. As you were."
He storms down another hallway. Homicide, for some inexplicable reason, is standing there.
"'Ey, yo, LIFTOR, dawg, how you been?"
Curry wastes no words and knees him in the stomach, and then bashes an elbow over the back of his head.
"Somebody tell me where Lawless is, now, or people will stop getting hurt. People will stop getting hurt--and then they're going to die."
No response. The MWA workers stand, scared shitless. One of them pisses his pants. Another passes out. The security guys are standing there too. Hell, they're afraid of him too. There's even a UCW wrestler or two among them--standing, afraid, with the rest of them, silent.
"So you want to do this shit the hard way."
One of the security guys steps forward, past the others. He stands looking at LIFTOR, attempting to calm him down. It doesn't last long. In a flashing green blur, the security guy is on the floor, writhing in pain, clutching his stomach, as Curry stands above him. The Spear has hit.
"Anybody else wanna be a goddamned hero?"
The crowd murmers a series of "No"s and "Not me, man"s.
"Now. Does somebody want to tell me where the hell Lawless is?"
Curry then feels the flooring shake just a little bit. He knows this feeling. Knows who's coming.
Gojira pushes through a group of people, and behind him is Ryan Kilst. They stand next to him.
"None know. He has dissapeared." Gojira speaks softly and slowly. A voice of reason in LIFTOR's fit of rage.
"Destroying these men will not seeth your anger, Johnathan. Only one thing shall." Ryan speaks with his light German accent. It used to be thick. Almost impossible to understand his English. It was sometimes preferrable that he speak in German on long trips just because Curry wouldn't be able to understand a damned thing he said either way. But eventually the accent faded, and he was more understandable.
"And what's that, Kilst? What the hell is going to make this end?"
"The crimson blood of Seth Lawless spilled onto the dark purple ringmat of Maritime Wrestling Alliance."
Curry's face breaks with an evil grin for the first time in two weeks.
"You've got that right, my friend."
The three nod, and Curry turns, and leads the two out of the arena.
