-Luke Devlin-
The camera is following Jericho Black backstage, when all of a sudden, something- or someone collides with him- Luke Devlin. Devlin, sporting a bandage over his broken nose, blasts Black in the back of the head with a steel chair, and then throws him over a tabletop into a wall. He then takes the chair and nails Black's left leg two, three times. Devlin carries on the assault on the leg, and then places his leg between the two flaps of the steel chair, and stomps down hard, crushing Blacks leg, a crack echoing throughout the hallway, along with Black's screams. Devlin then proceeds to put Black in his signature Texas Cloverleaf, putting the torque on the already injured leg of Jericho Black. Black continues to scream, his leg being turn to pieces.
"How do you like it? Huh?" Devlin laughs at Black. "Two can play your game!" It takes several seconds before security can get to the scene, and even when there, they simply cannot move Devlin out of the submission hold. It takes Ted Tsavales to finally yank him off, and Devlin backs off down the corridor, leaving Jericho Black to scream with the pain caused by his newly broken left leg.

Jericho Black continues to scream holding his leg paramedics reach the scene. They are carting him off on a strecher towards the medical room when Vertigo arrives on the scene.
Vertigo: "What the hell happened?"
Ted: "Luke Devlin was working him over."
Vertigo: "God damn it. I'm sure he deserved it, but I'm sick of this crap. Ted, find Harry and Rich. I want you guys to beef up security. I don't give a rat's ass if people get hurt in the ring. But if they get hurt backstage, we could have a lawsuit on our hands."
Ted: "So you don't want anyone wearing suits backstage, got it."
Vertigo: "Ted, just get the rest of Team MWA and meet me in my office. I'll talk to Harry."
Ted walks off and Vertigo puts his hand over his face.

-Luke Devlin-
Devlin is in a familiar location- the boiler room. He sits on top of his imfamous ladder, head in his hands. He then looks up at the camera, and a short smile cracks his lips. The camera reflects light off of the Juniorweight Title around Devlin's waist.
"Ryan Kilst." Devlin says quietley. "Tonight, I will face you, for the NMHC Juniorweight Title. This very title that I wear around my waste. Some say I'm not a deserving champion. Maybe, on paper, I'm not. But at the end of the day, it comes down to what's inside you. I had the motive... I had the drive. A drive that you, Kilst, or Matt Pierce, can only dream of having. "Tonight, Black was my sacrificial lamb. My example. An example of what I am going to do to you. Because I challenge you tonight, "Flame Enforcer" to a Submission Only match, for the Juniorweight title. Vertigo, let me know if my request is granted. "As for you, Kilst, dust off your submission moves. Because I'm coming after you with the Texa Cloverleaf." And with that, the camera fades out on a maniacally laughing Luke Devlin.

-Harry Fate-
*backstage*
Ted: "Hey there you guys are"
Rich: "Oh hey Ted, what's happening?"
Ted: "Vertigo needs to see us in his office, something about suits and no-one wearing them"
Harry: "Suits?"
Ted looks at Rich for a while and then points at Rich
Ted: "... Hey.... your wearing a suit..."
Ted tries to punch Rich, but Rich counters with the eye poke
Rich: "Ted... what are you doing?"
Ted: "Arrghh!"
Harry: "Let's carry him to Vertigo's office..."
*Vertigo's office*
Team MWA knock on the door and then proceed to enter the room with Ted now calmed down
Harry: "Boss you wanted to see us?"

-In Vertigo's office-
"Yeah, I am sick of Devlin and Black and everyone else just beating the crap out of each other backstage. Save it for the ring. So therefor, Ted is the Head of Security, but I don't think he quite understood what I wanted.
"Harry, I'm authorizing you guys to do what it takes to keep the peace backstage. When someone gets hurt backstage it hurts our bottom line because we don't get to charge the fans to see it.
"Oh and someone tell Devlin that he can have a submission match. Maybe he'll actually win for once."
Vertigo gets up and starts to walk out.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go to the ring, I have an announcement to make."
Vertigo walks out and heads for the ring.
-In the ring-
*BOOM*
Vertigo's music hits and he makes his way to the ring, dressed to compete. He has a mic in his hand.
"John Curry, we made a deal about a month ago. Once the UCW is gone I get my shot. Well the UCW is gone, so here is how it's gonna go down. I want that belt, but more importantly I want that belt around the waist of whichever of us is better. Not just the one who scored a lucky victory or had a gimmick match.
"So tonight, we begin a Best of Seven Series for the NMHC Heavyweight Championship! The first match of which, will be right now."
(((OOC- Yes I know there is a best of 7 going on in WWE right now, but I think it's actually a really cool concept in this format of simming. Maybe it won't actually go to match 7. )))

OOC: MWA has always kinda played off WWE in that respect. >.>
[Ryan Kilst]
"Whatever" by Our Lady Peace hits the speakers as the lights fade to blue. Ryan Kilst walks out onto the ramp doing his "low to the ground" taunt, then stands up and holds his arms out. He glances around at the crowd, and then nods as he walks down the ramp and jumps up onto the apron. He walks to the turnbuckle and hops up on it, and holds out his arms again. He then hops down from the turnbuckle into the ring and leans over the rope and grabs a mic from a worker.
"Devlin, Devlin, Devlin....You say that what matters is...Drive. The drive to compete, the drive to win, the motive, the want, the *need.* You say that I don't have that...You say that I lack it, and that I will never have it...."
He lowers his arm and looks down at the mat for a moment. He shakes his head, and then stops and raises his head again. Then he raises the mic.
"When I had my first match, I broke my opponent's neck with a headscissor takedown. He died, although I was not held responsible....But I did it. I screwed everything up. How much drive to wrestle do you think I had to have to even step into the ring again? And every time I did, they would taunt me with that mistake! The German Crippler! That's what the labelled me as, and it forced me to remember every time I stepped into the ring!!!"
He stops for a moment, and calms down...
"You say I have no drive? I say you've never killed a man and stepped back into the ring to tell about it. And if you ask me, I'm going to kill another one tonight."
He drops the mic and awaits Devlin to come out for their match.
[LIFTOR]
"ARE YOU READY?!"
The opening riffs of the DX theme hit as the lights fade and the green siren lights appear. The crowd pops hard for the arrival of the NMHC Heavyweight Champion. He appears on the rampway, wearing his entrance jacket, and holding a mic in one hand. The music and lights fade as he looks at Vertigo from the ramp.
"A best of seven, eh? Well. I did promise you a title shot. And I suppose this is as good of a contest as any..."
He begins to walk down the ramp, taking off his jacket as he does so. "But if you ask me, something needs to be done about it. Something to make this a little more unique than the Best of Sevens from other promotions..."
The crowd cheers as LIFTOR references the current WWE product, once again. Cheap crowd pops? You know it. Does it keep LIFTOR popular? Damn straight.
"Tonight, we shall face each other in a singles match, as planned. But I'll give you the benefit. After this, every match will be under Vertigo's Rules. You pick the match type, the stip, the rules. And whatever you say, you can do, V."
Curry stops for a moment and climbs up onto the apron, and steps into the ring. He walks towards Vertigo and the two stare each other down. LIFTOR holds the mic back up to his mouth, extending his other hand.
"May the best man win."
He tosses the mic so perfectly that it lands on the canvas and rolls out of the ring. Vertigo shakes LIFTOR's hand, and they clean break to seperate corners as the bell rings.

WE DON'T DIE!
TwiZtiD takes over the PA as "Ganja Man" Matt Pierce steps out from the back and onto the ramp. The fans greet him with a nice ovation as he lifts his arms into the air, forming an X over his head. He brings his arms down before making his way to the ring as the song continues to play...
FREAKS OF THE NIGHT
Matt slides into the ring, circling around inside the squared circle before he gets a mic from the ring-crew...
Ganja Man: "You know, there are many things that make a great champion...the ability to adapt to any and all opponents as well as defeat them...the will to keep going, to keep defending the title week in and week out, even though your body is sore from the constant wear and tear from each title defense...but you know, some champions lack those qualities; they do any and everything to ensure the title is over there shoulder, even if that means cheating."
The fans boo as Ganja Man speculates 'someone' is cheating...
Ganja Man: "Some of you know him, some of you are still getting familiar with him. Who is this that I'm speaking of? If you saw last weeks show, you know who I'm talking about, without a doubt, but for those who don't, let me show you..."
Matt then lowers the mic and turns to the big screen above the entrance ramp; the screen is black but then the darkness is replaced with a picture of none other than The current MWA Juniorweight Champion, Luke Devlin. The fans show there disapproval with a chorus of boos that can be heard from every corner of the building.
Ganja Man: "Luke Devlin....the man who STOLE my MWA Juniorweight Championship! I could be bitter about it, I could be like the current champion and go around randomly attacking anyone who could possibly present a challenge but I'm not like that, that's now how this Juggalo schools it, not a chance. You see, Luke, you run your mouth about how all the previous champions didn't have a certain characteristic, drive, and because of that, you are the champion. Well, I'm here to tell you that you obviously know not of which you speak. I was and still am the LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION IN MWA HISTORY! If anyone showed determination, if anyone showed the will to continue, if anyone showed that they had drive, IT WAS ME! So tonight, when you fall victim to "The Flame Enforcer", when you're tapping the mat trying to keep all your bones in-tact, know that you aren't the only one with drive. It's one thing to go around blabbing about how good you are and another to prove it. When you've defended that belt for close to 2 months, then you can start bragging. Until then, please, SHUT THE HELL UP!"
As Matt lowers the mic and moves towards the ropes, spotting a "Devlin fears EVERYONE" sign, the fans cheer at his previous statement. The Ganja Man then turns back to the center of the ring, facing the fans on the opposite side of the ring...
Ganja Man: "Now as much as I would like to be the one facing Devlin tonight, that's not the case. However, I do have a match that all you already know about: I've got to fight a member of The Green Team, James Dark, for a title that I've held before. Just so all of you are sure, this isn't anything personal. Dark and I are friends and something such as a championship belt will never come between that....so, let me say this to you, James, No matter the outcome, we are still The Green Team. No matter who walks out of the building tonight with that belt, it will still be in The Green Team's posession, that's for damn sure..."
WE DON'T DIE!
With that, Matt drops the mic and the fans give him a warm reaction as Afterburn cuts to a break....

-Vertigo-
As Curry finishes speaking, Vertigo looks him straight in the eyes, a slight smile on his face. He nods his head a couple of times and shakes Curry's hand. As he pulls away from Curry's handshake he backs into the corner as the referee enters the ring. The ref calls for the bell...
(((OOC Note: I've simmed this show and am just cropping the pictures and removing the WWF logos and such and results will be up shortly.)))

[glow=red,2,300] (December 2, 2005)[/glow] This week's show eminates LIVE from the Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Tonight's attendance is 4,750.Tank vs Raven Two of the MWA's resident tough guys beat the hell out of each other in this match. Surprisingly, it was Tank who brought the action outside of the ring while Raven tried desperately to move it back inside the squared circle. He was unable to and paid the price as Tank Dropped the Bomb on the arena floor for the victory. Here is your winner via pinfall @ 3:31, Tank!MWA United States Championship "Ganja Man" Matt Pierce vs "Dark Angel" James Dark (c) The two members of the Green Team settled their unfinished business from prior to James' arrival in the Team. James was dominant throughout the match, hitting power move after power move. The end came for the former NMHC Juniorweight Champion when James nailed the Dark Finisher and scored the pinfall. Here is your winner via pinfall @ 4:30, and STILL MWA United States Champion, "The Dark Angel" James Dark!MWA Television Championship EFF Dash vs Johnny Knockout (c) Johnny Knockout came out hard and fast against his smaller opponet, swinging for the fences with his array of lariats. EFF Dash used his speed and ability to reverse to his advantage and surprised the TV Champ with a Burning Hammer for the upset victory and the title. OOC- Sad as it sounds, that is the best pic I could get of the finisher.
Here is your winner via pinfall @ 3:32, and NEW MWA Television Champion, EFF Dash!NMHC Tag-Team Championship Fear Factory vs Team MWA (c) Fear Factory dominated the majority of the match. They seemed to have absolutely everything in hand until somehow Harry Fate locked in the Jacknife Powerbomb on Demento out of nowhere for the victory. Here are your winners via pinfall @ 7:52, and STILL NMHC Tag-Team Champions, Harry Fate & Ted Tsavales, Team MWA!NMHC Juniorweight Championship Submission Match "Flame Enforcer" Ryan Kilst vs "Rising Dragon" Luke Devlin (c) Devlin used his advantage of declaring a submission match going for almost exclusively submissions. Kilst however, The German Crippler, would not be denied and finnally re-captured the NMHC Juniorweight Championship by locking in an abdominal stretch on the mat that Devlin could not escape. Here is your winner via submission @ 5:17, and NEW NMHC Juniorweight Champion, "Flame Enforcer" Ryan Kilst!NMHC Heavyweight Championship Best of Seven Series: Match One Vertigo vs "The Liftor" John Curry (c) The two old rivals showed how well they know each other's moves and put on the match of the night, reversing everything the other threw. On more than one occassion there was a punch reversed into a punch reversed into a punch reversed into a punch. Vertigo managed to nail the Balefire Bomb but landed it too close to the ropes and caused a break. As the match continued Curry busted Vertigo open. A bloodied Vertigo slammed The Liftor with the Wave of Corrosion (Diamond Dust) and then dragged Liftor to the center of the ring for the victory, putting him up 1 - 0 in the series. Here is your winner via pinfall @ 7:27, Vertigo!

in the ring
Dash's hand is raised and he is declared the winner. The ref hands him the TV Title. He is in complete and utter awe. He looks over to Knockout. He goes to him and helps him up. He tells the ref to hand him a mic.
D: "Knockout, holy crap...that was a match. I didnt even know I was gonna wrestle until Vertigo told me like 10 mins before the show started. I know we have minor differences dating back to our time in Japan, but really, great match. If you want a rematch, Im down, in 2 weeks, as I have some unfinished business to take care of first."
Dash offers his hand to Knockout, who...
backstage
Devlin is gathering his stuff in his lockerroom, whose door is open. Dash appears in the doorway.
D: "Heh..."
L: "Huh?"
D: "G'job out there, losing the title you didnt really deserve in the first place. But, hey, Im not here to talk down to you or even go as far as you, and use light flickery and ether tatics, because I have class. However, I did come here to thank you. Yeah, thats right, to thank you. You see, if it wasnt for your little stunt last week, where you had me suspended 70ft in the air, I would have never overcome my fear of heights. You see, I was up there for a while. And it occured to me that my fear was irrational...I wasnt born knowing to fear heights, I learned it. So, I just rationalized it. And I have you to thank. So, Devlin, Thank You. And uh...to show you how much I appreciate your help, on Delerium, Im going to give you a chance to earn a shot at my TV Title. If you can beat me on Delerium, then next week itll be you and Me in a Ladder match for the MWA TV Title. But...ya gotta earn it first. Lets see if you're more than cheap light effects and backstage roughups."
Dash turns to leave...

-Luke Devlin-
Dash turns to leave, but Devlin puts a hand on his shoulder. Devlin at this point is looking pretty solemn. He stares at the MWA Television Championship that Dash bears. "Wait a second." Devlin says calmly. "Why would you give me such an opportunity? I was making your life a living hell- I broke Jericho Black's leg." "Well", Dash starts, "I reckon there's more to you then cheap light tricks and ladder shots. I believe that you have talent that we haven't seen yet." Devlin bows his head for a second, and then looks up. "Y'know what, maybe, just maybe, I've been going about this the wrong way", Devlin says, louder this time. "I'm too used to having to do things my way in order to prevail. Now, don't get me wrong, it doesn't neccessarily mean I like you, but I do respect you. You gave me a chance. That earns you my respect." Devlin puts out a hand, and Dash stares at it for a moment. Dash then proceeds to shake hands with "The Risen Dragon". A thin smile curls the lip of Devlin, as Dash walks out of the room.

-Johnny Knockout-
Dash offers his hand to Knockout, who accepts the hand shake.
Johnny (on the mic): "I'll accept your challenge too, but I too have another goal... the MWA US belt. James if you can hear me, I'd like to challenge for the US belt, that way I can be the first MWA heavyweight to win all the belts available to the heavyweights."
The crowd starts cheering wildly
Johnny: "There is another person who is close to this goal and that's Vertigo..."
Announcer: "Will James except the challenge? And will Vertigo be first to complete Johnny's goal first?"

-Backstage-
The camera is following Vertigo as he makes his way back to his locker room. He opens the door and walks in, a smokey haze filling the room. Ganja Man gets up walks over to Vertigo looking pretty happy. Vertigo walks past him to the sink and grabs a towel, wiping the blood off of his face as he does.
"I do not celebrate yet. A win is a win but I have three more wins to go before I finnally get that belt. So until this is over, you are going to see a different Vertigo."
Vertigo walks over to his desk and starts to pull off his pads, tossing them on the desk.
"And the best part is that Johnny Knockout put the idea in my head that when I win the NMHC Heavyweight Championship, I will have won every single title available to a Heavyweight. That will happen. But whether I'm the first or second man to do it, is still up for grabs.
"If I'm the second man, no one will remember it. But if I'm the first man ever to win the grand slam, then I will be remembered, for a very long time.
"So now my best of seven series has even more meaning to me. If I lose then not only do I miss out on the championship yet again, but I also miss out on making history. And if I win then I am part of history."
Vertigo sits down behind his desk takes a drink of water. He leans back and puts his feet on the desk.
"And it is perfect that I face Curry for the title. He's been my biggest rival. Twice he defeated me in my attempts to win the NMHC Heavyweight Championship. He was the man I defeated for the SWF Heavyweight Championship in an Sixty Minute Iron Man Match. And he was running this show for four months while I ran Delerium.
"Now I run the show and am on the brink of history and who is standing in my way for the gold? "The Liftor" John Curry of course. Well now he is going down."
Vertigo pulls out a bottle of disinfectant and starts working on his forehead.
