NMHC Heavyweight Championship
The NMHC Heavyweight Championship has blossomed into one of the most sought after championships around today. It’s open to all Heavyweights (231 lbs. and above). The championship itself was created via the unification of the MWA & SWF Heavyweight Championships. Homicide won the MWA ‘s championship in a tournament final. Vertigo had previously defeated John Curry for the SWF’s championship. Those three competed in a ladder match to determine the NMHC Heavyweight Champion. John Curry was victorious. Since that night, the title has further solidified it’s stature from being in the hands of great champions.
